ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Ruth Mascelli (of the band Special Interest) joins us on tour for a
night of electronic mood pieces, accompanied by solo musician Mary
Hanson Scott who builds ambient, meditative layers of saxophone- the
perfect soundtrack for wandering the halls of an art museum at night.
Local composer & keyboardist Landon Peer will perform with
Philadelphia based violinist Melissa Lisbão- together the duo baptize
the beloved string instrument into the electronic undercurrent. Ms.
Honey opens the show, an easy listening alternative folk collective
with a melancholic and ethereal sound. Spoken word by NEVE, a
multidimensional, multidisciplinary terpsichorean artist of the stage,
street, page, field, stream, and screen.
Lighting by Eggsotic Events.
About the Organizer:
Jeff Barnett is a curator, DJ, and filmmaker based in Easton, PA. He
is the co-founder of many vibrant local events including Kaleido,
Derealization, and Thesis/ Anti-Thesis. These gatherings serve as
dynamic platforms for fostering community and connection, where people
can engage with art, one another, and their own identities . The need
to intersect in hyper-present spaces is more important than ever- the
aim is to cultivate environments where individuals can come together
to explore, challenge, and celebrate the richness of human expression
through sound.
