Gnocchi... We think we'll make Gnocchi
In the Bell Tower's "not so cozy" Italian kitchen, Marie and Marie, two seasoned home cooks from Martins Creek, with deep Italian roots, are passionately offering to teach a lesson to eager learners the art of making traditional Gnocchi.
With flour-dusted hands and warm smiles, they will guide their students/guests through the meticulous process, sharing family secrets passed down through generations.
Marie # 1, with her "not so soft" voice and "not so precise" techniques, demonstrates how to achieve the perfect dough consistency, while Marie # 2, with her lively gestures and engaging anecdotes, explains the importance of selecting the right potatoes.
As the class progresses, the room fills with the comforting aroma of fresh gnocchi simmering gently in a pot, creating an atmosphere of culinary camaraderie and cultural immersion. By the end of the session, participants not only master the delicate balance of ingredients but also gain a deeper appreciation for the rich culinary heritage of Italy.
And afer the class... WE ALL EAT!
Class is limited to 15 people.
